This project helps a Virginia school lower its long term operating costs while teaching students the value of clean energy.
We designed a 44.41 kW roof mounted solar array that fits the school’s existing roof structure, using SFLEX racking for a secure, low profile install and SolarWorld 315 W modules for reliable production. Four SolarEdge inverters manage the system’s performance, optimize energy harvest, and provide monitoring so the school can track its solar production in real time.
The result is a commercial scale solar installation that cuts utility bills, reduces the school’s carbon footprint, and turns the campus roof into a working sustainability lesson for students and staff.
